What is Laceration?

Laceration refer to a deep cut or tear in our flesh skin.

What is the cause?

Laceration commonly happened when unexpected sharp objects cut through our skin. For example, the metal plate detaches from the sawmill machine while operating and cuts our skin which is one of the most common industrial accidents we have seen.

What is the treatments?

Usually, for a deeper cut, our Doctor will be using the Toilet and Suture procedure to clean and close the wound. An imaging screening may be recommended if the broken bone is suspected
